Technology and Innovation Consultant at Statistics for Sustainable. He first became involved with projects in Africa whilst studying mathematics at the University of Warwick, through the Warwick in Africa scheme. Since then he worked in education in the UK, and with AIMSSEC in South Africa where he set up the IT training programme for AIMSSEC courses and established it on a firm foundation. He also wrote the AIMSSEC App. He works on many projects aimed towards improving livelihoods through the use of technology, working with partners including WFP, UNHCR, DFID and the McKnight Foundation. He also is a director of the charity Supporting African Maths Initiatives (SAMI), whose mission statement is to promote equitable access to quality mathematics education in Africa.
